"This company is top notch in terms of racial diversity, gender diversity is not necessarily pushed here but the union is a wonderful resource if the going gets rough. I was never negatively affected by management for being female, but you do have men that have been working for the company for many, MANY years that like to try and put the "lady-folk" in their place. "At headquarters, it's a good work/life balance, but they reward tenure. There are no maternity benefits, but you can use annual/sick leave to take up to 12 weeks under FMLA. If you haven't been with the company long, you don't have many options. They treat women as equals here, but the system is set up so the main way to get promoted is switching groups or positions. If you like your role, it's hard to get a promotion within that role."
