"It is a very physical job if you are working in the field, in management it's very stressful in that you can never win. It's not a job that envokes positive energy"

"At headquarters, it's a good work/life balance, but they reward tenure. There are no maternity benefits, but you can use annual/sick leave to take up to 12 weeks under FMLA. If you haven't been with the company long, you don't have many options. They treat women as equals here, but the system is set up so the main way to get promoted is switching groups or positions. If you like your role, it's hard to get a promotion within that role."

"If you are not a career employee you will not receive many benefits. PSE (basically a worker that is used based on business needs only) is what the post office hires for these days. To become career it takes a while."
