"Set expectations with your manager, share your personal life (like that you have kids or daycare duty, etc.) and commit to maintaining your own expectations (like no working at home)"
"Expect to get the skills you would like in a three to four year time span and then plan to leave. If you are planning on having children, while working at this company, I would find another job. "
"This company will challenge you, there are a lot of things they are doing right to try and balance the diversity equation at this company. Whirlpool has invested time in family leave, programs to support mothers milk/nursing rooms, and great opportunities for internships as well as college support for families."
