"Senior exec team is very male dominated and there are very few females in leadership positions. Flextime and other family-friendly benefits are department specific and are not judiciously allocated. In my department, a new mother was denied her request to leave by 5:45 daily to collect her child from daycare and she left as a result. It was very deflating to witness. Some working mothers in other departments have better arrangements, but it is very varied and dependent on the employee."
