"I have found AppNexus to be a very flexible and supportive work environment. It is difficult that engineers here tend to be very similar, but that's a problem with our industry as a whole. And my manager and team members are doing their best to try and support me. My biggest wish is that pair programming was a part of the culture at the New York office."

"Everything about this company has reminded me that I, too, am a strong woman in tech. My interview process was amazing, using a blind resume for hiring me as an intern (where I soon after joined as a full-time employee). My interviews were held with all females, all members of the team I ended up joining, which is noticeably female and tech-centric. It's an inspiring place to work, and I'm surrounded by strong female role models, including the Chief Data Scientist who I've received words of advice from, the VP of the Analytics organization who has taken it upon herself to get to know me personally even though I've worked for only a month, my manager who helps me time and time again and balances so much work, and so many other inspiring women. Appnexus truly cares about facilitating a safe, diverse, and inclusive space for women, not to mention people of all genders, races, ages, etc. I feel heard and respected here, and I can't wait to grow in my career here."

"Flexible and accepting work environment. However, its competitive which sometimes makes it hard to get ahead if you keep a good work-life balance. "

"Tech as an industry is known for being very flexible in terms of hours and in-person time, and we are no different. I'd say one thing that stands out is geographical flexibility in terms of leadership - we have a number of executives (including C-level) whose teams are primarily at HQ but they lead from other global offices. I don't see that at other companies as much (usually it's career limiting to move from HQ) and it's a very nice benefit if NYC isn't in your long term goals. "
