My VP doesn't know anything about the buildings she manages
I have a VP over many buildings in my company and she seems to be extremely un-knowledgeable, disorganized, and tells our Board of Directors everything is running smoothly. How do I share my concerns anonymously without rocking the boat? All of our HR team (VP, Directors, Assistants, etc) has left with the exception of one person. Our VP is also very good personal friends with her direct supervisor, the President.
I've always prioritized my career, but I'm starting to feel like I won't feel as committed to it once I have my baby. Should I be worried about losing my ambition?
I worked at my employer for 7 months and then had 3 months maternity leave. I know things have changed since I left to have my baby, but I'm wonder if my employer is obligated to have my previous job for me. What happens if they lay me off?
I am so paranoid about people finding out I'm pregnant before I want to say anything so I've been wearing baggy clothes and avoided any mention of this even on FB in case I'm connected to someone at work who sees...any other advice about how to avoid being found out too soon??
I have worked very hard (probably harder than someone with a degree) to get where I am in my career. I started out as a data entry clerk and through my hard work, I have worked up to being a Contracts Manager. I am now looking to relocate and find a similar position at another company; however, I am finding it difficult to find a job due to not having a college education. What can I do to show or prove to potential employers that I can do the job just as good as any other candidate?
