    New Research: The State of Diversity Recruiting in 2022

    Announcing the results from the annual Fairygodboss Diversity Recruiting Survey. The objective of this study is to determine key trends and tactics that US Corporations are using today to improve diversity of their new hires. Nearly 150 HR, Talent, Employer Brand, and D&I professionals shared information on their diversity leadership, goals, hiring practices, employer branding and recruitment marketing tactics, diversity hiring metrics and data, and more to help benchmark what companies are doing and what’s working. 

    The results show that:

    • Diversity Recruitment is a focus in nearly every organization and 61% of companies report having specific, tangible diversity hiring goals set for 2022 - up from 55% in 2021
    • 88% of companies are targeting hiring more women this year, but with over 3 million women missing from the workforce due to the pandemic, the war for women talent is at all-time high
    • Companies have invested in more diversity initiatives across the board this year, with the biggest increase in gender-neutral job descriptions, compensation audits, and diversity employee referral programs.
