The World Economic Forum reports that it will take 257 years at the current pace to achieve gender equality. And, between the pandemic and economic downturn, it doesn’t appear to be getting any better. In fact, last year, the WEF estimated gender parity would take 99.5 years. Thus, between women’s jobs being eliminated at 1.8 times the rate of men’s jobs and women voluntarily leaving the workforce to pick up the extra pandemic-driven home and childcare responsibilities, we’re seeing a regression in progress that will cost us $1 trillion in global GDP over the next ten years.

On December 2nd, we hosted a “Top Diversity Priorities in 2021” webinar with the Vice President of Diversity and Inclusion at SiriusXM and Pandora, Nicole Hughey, to break down the top diversity priorities and actions organizations can take to drive real change in 2021.
