Hi, I am in the process of creating a professional email for my small business and I want it to look reliable and trustworthy.
Do you have any tips or examples?

Choose something short, simple, and straightforward that tells people what you go. Go to Google Workspace and sign up for an account. You can purchase a domain when signing up. It’ll cost you $50 or less for the year for Google Workspace (email, Google Drive storage, etc.) + your domain name. Or, you can sign up for a domain name separately and add email at checkout and it will be about $20 for the year for most domain names.
Try the company name and make sure that you use an I-Cloud email address.
Using iCloud, google or yahoo email addresses (any non-business domain name) is not advisable due to the email marketing changes implemented at the beginning of 2024.
Don't try to get too creative, that is not inticing at all. IMO, your name @ the name of the company
This is not where you will show your reliability and trustworthiness. It will be how you respond and the integrity and quality of your work.
Campaign monitoring, I recommend it for all my small businesses not only does it give you template examples but it also creates that HTML graphic design email looking and also ask as a CRM as you can upload in Excel spreadsheet into your platform and then also the email address that it’s coming from your email and then hit send. It also has a built-in metrics tab low dashboard.
What kind of email are you trying to create? Sites like SurveyMonkey and Canva have good templates for email newsletters, but it might be hard to give good advice without some context!
That’s a great question — a lot of people in email marketing go through this stage.
One thing that really helped me was shifting focus from just campaigns to deeper skills like automation, segmentation, and lifecycle strategy. Those areas are in much higher demand now and can really help you stand out.
It can also be useful to look at how different teams approach retention and customer journeys, not just acquisition. I’ve seen some interesting insights around this here:

Also, don’t underestimate networking and having a few real case studies in your portfolio — that often makes a bigger difference than just listing tools.
Wishing you the best of luck with your search!
