How do career pivot put of a job that is sucking the soul out of you.

How do career pivot put of a job that is sucjing the soul out of you. Frankly, I want to work remote and spend as much time with my kids while their still little. I cannot find a remote job in my field - either lacking in benefits or in compensation.
