Need more?
Sometimes we feel guilty about wanting more. But the truth is, when we're doing something we actually love our entire world changes and our kids benefit. When you're doing something you don't like energy is hard to come by and our kids feel that.
I saw this quote from Wayne Dyer and I love it:
"Doing what you love is the cornerstone of having abundance in your life."
Thoughts? Is the guilt of making a change keeping you from taking the next step?
Thanks for sharing, Kelli. We talk about guilt a lot with our community of returnees. While many feel it as they return to their career, many also share the pride they feel in the work they do and in the example they are able to set for their children. While that doesn't make them immune to sometimes feeling guilty, it really helps when they look bigger picture. Abigail, I love that you mention the pride they feel as well. That's such an important aspect and I wish more women would focus on the example they are setting rather than the guilt they feel for spending less time with their kids. Let's connect - we have a lot in common!
