I have a 5k this weekend called, TropiCool 5k. I live in the Florida tropics and it is likely to be the last race with semi-cool temps in the morning!

BOSTON MARATHON - First one, Finally!! Anyone have any suggestions on what to do and see while I'm there?

It went very well - such a memorable experience and trip for myself and my family. Got to see Boston (have cannoli's, visit Old Ironside, Bunker Hill, other historic landmarks) as well as a quick trip to NYC, including a Broadway show, Central Park and 9/11 memorial. Having never been to this part of the country it was exciting for this midwesterner.
But the RACE itself and all the great vibes from other runners and the amazing support of the whole city was incredible. I would love to do it again, but fear it wouldn't quite live up to the great weather and celebration of women's 50th year of running the race. Made it so extra special to be there for the post-COVID return to Patriot's Day
