Wow, how weird if we go into another lock down what will we do. I have a husband, am blessed he works and makes a great salary. But with a new home am stepping up my job search. We purchased our new home in February. I was on my to work my first day. And received a call, sorry CA. issued a Shelter in Place. Just purchased a home in February. I have no idea what the future holds but am hoping life will be different in November 2020.
Thank you!!
If you currently have a job, it is imperative that you look at the value you currently bring to your company and ask if it's enough. This is the time companies need the cream to rise to the top- and the best will be rewarded. I know how hard it is--especially for women with children-- but you need to make it happen. As a coach for business owners and CEO's, they are going to be forced to make tough decisions with the recent upward Covid trend. Be sure you are adding value and your company recognizes it.
Hi Veschion. First of all, I'm sorry that you're facing this additional adversity in these trying times. Congratulations on your new home! I just moved into my first-ever home on March 12th.
As the company I work for is affiliated with an "essential" sector [specifically, hardware], I have been able to continue working. Being a homeowner now makes me super nervous about what the future holds. I have seen things slow down and am concerned that I could lose my job as well.
There are many frustrating things for me regarding the pandemic. But one of the biggest is the fact there are so many uncertainties.
I'll end by saying I admire your resolve and willingness to look to the future. Both are amazing traits in these trying times!
Thank you so much!!
