I was recently informed that my group is being outsourced; I have 22 years experience as an Oracle DBA on Unix systems (AIX/HP-UX/Oracle Linux). I have also supported SQL Server and a bit of MySQL. I have participated in an Oracle E-Business upgrade from 12.5 to 12.6, and have also done Change Management with BMC Remedy. I have configured code deployment using Quest STAT. I have supported several Disaster Recovery exercises. In 2018, I was given an award for exceptional customer service - although I am located in Southern California, I have supported users in Europe and Asia Pacific, being available at 1 AM Pacific Time. I have also created system documentation, mentored other team members as well as trained outsource teams (I have been through three outsourcings (IBM/Siemens/TCS) and several data center moves. I have knowledge of SQL and Unix scripts; I am currently working on upgrading multiple Oracle 12.1.0.2.0 databases to Oracle 19.3. I have also configured Oracle APEX, with ORDS and Tomcat for a BI application. In my previous position at Northrop Grumman B2 Division, I had a DOD Secret Clearance - I worked on Flight Test and Logistics Systems.
