Hello Everyone!
Currently I am working as a Graduate Engineer Trainee ( Electrical Engineering). And it's been 4 months since my joining after graduating. I want to switch my job to IT sector and specifically in Machine learning and Software development roles. But I am literally confused as what to do. And there is this small thing about studying further as well .
Can anyone please advise about this.

This is what I call in my course a "pivot". You need to identify the skills and experiences needed in the IT/software sector and where your skills and experience gaps are. Once you identify them, work towards bridging those gaps.
I'd also recommend contacting people in the area you want to be in and ask them for advice and guidance in identifying the gaps and how to bridge them. Those people can then become your referrals later when needed. Good luck!
