We wear many hats at my FT job so whenever people call asking for a specific title, we have to think who would be filling that capacity.
Our shipping/receiving/marking guy was fired yesterday. He's been here since 1979. I don't remember if he ever said what month he started but basically he'd been here as long as I've been alive. He told my coworker (who saw him clocking out early) that he guessed that he was smoking too much.
With all the other BS going on around here I think all of us at my job need to ramp up our job search efforts.

wow that doesn't sound like a good environment to be in - not a bad idea to start looking for a new job
