I'm really struggling to find a job that's a good fit for me.
I'm an introvert and I prefer a job working behind the scenes. I'm 52 years old and I'm still working entry level jobs. I'm not confident with my ability to get a degree in anything to help. I've worked a lot of call center jobs just because they're usually easy to get on with and they're behind the scenes jobs, but they're a nightmare. I don't know what kind of job would be a good fit for me where I'd make decent money.
Good day,
Have you tried non phone work for home jobs I would gather all the experience and break it down to see what you which other directions you can go .
Blessings

Perhaps you can start by researching jobs that align to your wants. Next, see if your company had degree reimbursement. After that, talk to a degree rep from somewhere like WGU (Western Governors University). The WGU courses are all online and are structured for people who have busy schedules already. There are several degree options and it is designed to require a "B" grade to pass (great for reimbursement requirements). I feel that this could align to what you want. Note that I started my WGU effort in my late 50s and successfully completed it. Hope this helps.
It sounds like you're looking for a career that aligns with your introverted nature while providing stability and decent pay. There are various behind-the-scenes roles that don't require a degree, such as data entry, content editing, or virtual assistant positions. These jobs often allow for independent work with minimal interaction. Additionally, IT support or remote helpdesk roles could be a good fit if you have technical skills or are open to learning some through online courses. You don't need a degree for many of these jobs, and gaining certifications or learning new skills through platforms like Coursera could boost your confidence and open up more opportunities.
If you don’t particularly like the customer service aspect of a call center, have you considered data entry or sales operations?
