Hello, my name is Bridgett.
I am looking for freelance medical copy editing work. I have 35 years experience working in medical publishing as a copy editor. I have also worked with 3 PhD candidates on their dissertations (all very happy with my work). I'm slightly stunned to be needing to look for work after very many years receiving articles steadily from one outsource company.

It's been more than a few years since I worked in healthcare and medical content but I still have a few contacts in this space. Here are some companies that I have used in the past who hire (or used to hire) medical copy editors.
Healthwise.com, Remedy Health Media, Healthday News Service and WebMD
Take a look at those companies and let me know if you want an introduction.

I am no longer working there however maybe look into HMP Global. or their competitor MJH Life Science or Healio - you can search medical communication and education organizations or competitors of the ones listed here

Hi Bridgett, make sure you're on LinkedIn and your profile is optimized. If not sure how to start, they offer free tutorials and other courses to help you get started and on your way. Do not be quick to hire a Career Coach without extensive vetting. Vet them, then vet them again. Trust me.
