Here is what PNC replied: We carefully review hundreds of resumes daily, and while your skills and accomplishments caught our eye, we have decided to pursue other candidates. Perhaps PNC is no longer senior friendly - not sure if they ever were...

My mom ran into the same issues after losing her job years ago. She was let go from the employer she had been with for over 20 years. She was approaching 60 and still needed to work full-time, so she began applying for positions which she was qualified for. She had many interviews but no offers. It is hard to prove age discrimination but I am certain it happens every day.
