Starting a Business
Hi Group! This is my first time to this site and first post. Currently I work in a very toxic low integrity environment. I have tried everything to cope and even tried finding another job. I have had a startup company idea for a while and pitched the idea to an organization who helps create business plans. They too think it is a promising idea. I really don’t want to do this alone, I want to find a business partner. The only thing is I need a programmer/IT type of partner. What is the best way to find a partner? Also, has anyone left a steady good job to start your own company? Not having the steady income is scary but mentally surviving a toxic job seems worse. Any advice is much appreciated!
Hi there, I pivoted 8 years ago and left a 20+ corporate career to save my own well-being. I started my own company and my suggestion is you may not need a partner unless it’s for financial backing? What you may need is a virtual team. Such as interns to do your social media, a mentor, a good attorney to confer with, a good web and funnel developer. Hire as needed and consider them as your team. You do not have to go it alone but you do need to set up your business framework. If you need help, feel free to message me.
