Hi everyone! I'm a big fan and supporter of FGB and the community here. I formerly worked in Strategy & Product for Snapchat & TikTok, and recently raised some money to start a new company in the mental wellness space, specifically focusing on combating loneliness. An issue that is deeply personal for me and I sadly think more widespread than we think. We are hiring some key roles on our founding team right now, so just wanted to share with the community here if anyone is interested or has someone in mind! We have some strong candidates for each, but we do not want to make any hires until we are able to source more female candidates for these key roles. Needs to be willing to code in the early days as well, not just manage) + Front-End Engineering Lead (mobile native, iOS is first for us) + Graph Database / ML Engineer (we have a unique approach on our user experience that will require a strong, proprietary machine learning system to understand our users and tailor the experience accordingly).
