Hi FGB'ers! Has anyone ever transitioned from full-time to part-time and back again?
For a few years, I took a step back to focus on myself because of health-related issues. The good news? I’m happy and healthy and ready to get back into a full-time role. Does anyone have advice as how to go about explaining the part-time role to recruiters in a professional way? Any and all experience around this would be really helpful. Thanks in advance!

My co-worker and friend did. She was full-time, did "job-share" (part-time). Went back F/T. Had another baby. Went back P/T. The second time though, have VERY GOOD REASON why you want to come back f/t or p/t since you've already changed your mind over the years.

I've been in and out of part-time/full-time work over the last several years due to health and to work on other projects, etc. If someone ever asks, I'm just honest and most employers will respect health-related reasons and pursuing passions. If you're a good fit for the role, they won't use this against you!
