I'm Creating Impact in Social sector since past 7+ years by fundraising through corporates, retail and NGO partnerships.
I'm looking for a job in CSR dept of a company where I can grow and create impact. Looking for an opportunity after maternity break.
Hi Pooja, how is your job hunting going? Would you like to try recruitment or business development roles? I work with Manpowergroup. Out IT unit Experis has openings. They are looking for freshers as well as experienced people who are motivated to drive the organization's agenda. Anyways, i wish you all the best in all your future endeavors.
I learned that Workday has an intentional program (I think it's called Opportunity On Ramp) specifically for people coming back to the workplace after time away (veteran, mat leave, etc.). You might want to try connecting with someone on their CSR team via LinkedIn for an informational interview.
One of the best things you can do in your job search is to tailor your resume to the jobs you're applying to. This means including terms, skills, and keywords from the job description into your resume and cover letter.
Also, you may want to create a skills-based resume depending on how long you were on maternity leave. A Combination/Hybrid is best and works well with the applicant tracking systems (ATS).
You might also want to start networking with companies that you'd like to apply to. LinkedIn is a great place for this. Reach out to different recruiters and hiring managers and start building those relationships - even if the company isn't posting CSR jobs, you never know when the opportunity will come along.
I'm a professional Resume Writer and I hope this information is helpful.
^Great advice, Sabrina!
