My problem is I am not able to climb up the ladder and no calls since a year even if I am applying to many. thats really bothering me.
Have you considered marketing adjacent roles? Perhaps sales, business development, market research, go to market strategy, marketing consultant, social media, internal communication, product marketing?
The other thing to consider is what industries are you looking in? Healthcare is hiring, tax/accounting firms...just about anyone in financial services is hiring right now, even real estate firms. Lots of non-profits need marketing people.
Also, look into working with a creative temp agency. Temp to contract roles are great ways to get your foot in the door, make a little money and you never know, it could land you a perm gig.
I know the feeling where you are which is why I left marketing and transitioned to UX/UI (it's funny how in my org today, UX/UI still sits under marketing lol). Anyhoo, the point I'm making is you probably have a lot of transferable skills that a company would benefit from.
Take the pressure off of finding an exclusive marketing role and see how else your skills can be leveraged in a different business function.
Good luck to you!
I am so sorry you hare having a hard time! in the meantime, are you able to find freelance work to help you for a bit?
