Hi FGB Folks - Soooo, the job search is a failure as I've been seeking to leave my current role for over the last year. Now, they cut the workforce , me included no surprises . Between applications, I've shifted the emphasis to people with intermittent application submissions. I applied to a role recently, this Monday received the rejection, that they'll be moving forward with candidates more aligned to the role ( no comment, save for the title as the job functions expectations are what I do daily) Today in my work email inbox, from the same organization, I received an invitation for a virtual event discussing how to onboard talent. Mind you, my email address is unique and they clearly went to the rejection candidates for solicitation. By the way, I'm not in HR, not even close. I thought it was just an ugly act from their HR. A demonstration of recruiters' callousness for people. I almost want to blast the head of their HR for this insult! I know regardless, as a reflection of their character, they will NOT email back. Still deciding how to respond...any thoughts? Best, Angry - insulted
