Wall Street Girls (wallstreetgirls.org) is a newly-launched financial education platform for driven and curious females interested in the financial sector. We are all about cultivating future female leaders in finance to close the industry’s outdated gender gap. Wall Street Girls hopes to inspire, educate, and empower the next generation of female leaders in the financial services industry. We are looking to grow our team and take on a few volunteers to work with us remotely. We are currently looking for a hardworking, ambitious Community Engagement Intern. You will be responsible for engaging with our key communities via online and offline platforms, editing and designing our monthly Money Moves newsletter, and spearheading creative projects and community-building initiatives for our members. In the next few months, we will be hosting several joint virtual events with our partners, including both University pre-professional organisations and Financial Services companies, while continuing to add to the content on our website (our online knowledge base). We are at a very exciting point in our journey, and the next couple of months will prove to be full of growth and immense impact as we continue to bring our mission to life. What You Should Have: - Social Media strategy experience (Facebook, LinkedIn, Slack) - Email marketing / Newsletter writing experience - Excellent communication skills - Availability for 8 hours each week - Degree (or pursuing one) in marketing, operations, English, business, communications, journalism or other relevant degrees - The ability to prioritize, multi-task and work effectively as an individual and in a team environment - Hungry and passionate attitude – especially for what we’re building!
