Has anyone here ever landed a job via LinkedIn?
Just curious, it seems like it is a "must"for job seekers, but I have never heard of anyone I know getting a job via LinkedIn.
I was sourced and offered a position through LinkedIn. Unfortunately, the position wasn't as advertised and I resigned.
I have landed my last two opportunities through LinkedIn but it does call for a whole lot of investment. You need to leverage inmails and ensure your resume highlights the key skills to ensure you get picked up by the Recruiter who would be using their AI for shortlisting.
I got my current and previous jobs through LinkedIn! I'm in a niche industry, so the previous one HR reached out to me, and the current job I applied for.
I did. The recruiter found me on LinkedIn and reached out to me. I was so lucky to get my first job in US by LinkedIn!
Hi, I landed an interview and a job using LinkedIn easy apply. I know it's rare and it was one out of many I applied for. So do t ignore it but do use it to find out if you have a connection in that company , reach out to the hiring manager etc . Good luck !
I haven’t had any luck getting a job via Linkedin; however, it has been a great tool for building my network.
I got a job I applied for on LinkedIn, granted I applied for many many others that I didn't even get an interview for.
I did! I was found by a recruiter for an amazing job with a great company - and a $10k increase in salary from what I was making! LinkedIn is as useful as the time and energy that you put into it - if you are active and engaged, you will be more likely to reap the benefits.
I think if you work in an industry/position that uses recruiters to fill positions you might be more likely to get a job from it. But if not, as others have said, it's less useful for job seeking per se than for connecting with your network.
YES! about 18 months ago I was contacted by a headhunter from my linkedin profile! Love my job!
