Starting over again ...
I am starting over again (recently became disabled) as far as seeking a position that is remote and has nothing to do with Tax preparation or Selling Insurance. I need serious help in navigating the job seeker avenues. Accepting any encouraging advice ... thanks for your time.
Kathy, two other sites to check out for remote work would be Career Contessa and Remotive. These are full range sites that have jobs from entry level up to C-suite, depending on what you are looking for.
Kimberly thank you so much, I will review both and see what happens ... thanks to all who offered advice, suggestions, and encouragement!
Thank you for the tip, I will take a look!
Have you looked into FlexJobs.com? It has all remote/flexible hour positions in a myriad of different fields. It is a subscription site and I’ve found more wfh and remote positions there than other sites.
When I google remote healthcare admin jobs, there's a plethora of legitimate sites that pop up. I would also target the places you'd like to work for. Remote is thankfully the new normal!
I am registered with several job boards and receiving email notifications every day all day for all types of positions (although I select specific criteria for my profile). I wish there was some way to be able to receive only what you ask for. Any suggestions to prevent unsolicited positions?
You can do this! Remote work is becoming more common across all industries. You can also research companies that have a commitment to disability inclusion.
Thank you, thanks for the encouragement! I actually had a phone interview that I opted out of because the pay was so low, that I would not be able to take care of myself. I was open, but nice in telling the interviewer I did not want to move forward because I could not afford to work for their company. He was fine with that.
