I think I know what I want. How do I get there.
So I have done some soul searching and I believe I have discovered what I want to do. Out of all of my jobs, I think what I liked most was doing training! As I reflect back, I have the most patience, the most drive, and the most care when I am working with employees to train them. I have done new hire orientation training (so HR related topics), Employee Safety Training, Job Skills Training, Food Safety Training, and many other types.
I think this may be where my passion lies. So how do I take that part of my experience and land that dream job!? I am so excited to finally feel like I have a direction!

Consider getting a certificate from ATD, which can help you compete in the job market. https://www.td.org/ Good luck!
It's so exciting to have a direction! I think all the normal job-search activities should work. Your goal is to take your existing experience and focus. I keep an Excel spreadsheet or Access Database when doing a complicated job search. You will want to maintain a list of contacts and a history.
1. Put together a resume for this.
2. Create a profile on LinkedIn and set your status and career goals accordingly.
3. Create profile on Indeed and upload resume.
4. Begin searching job boards, creating profiles and applying to open positions for training.
5. Attend job fairs - not sure if you can do this during Covid.
