Hi everyone, I’m Jenn!
I’ve been a data analyst for the last 8 years and with the current job market and new requirements (SQL, Python, R), I feel that upskilling is the only way to go to even be considered. Currently only have basic SQL and advanced Excel in my tools stack. OR I can pivot to a new career trajectory, but I’m unsure of what at the moment. If anyone has any recommendations or stories of pivoting, would appreciate them!
Hi Jenn,
Please be mindful of responding to Gema Watson Wood. A quick look at her profile shows the 'company' she works for is a financial MLM. Don't get caught up in that mess.
Financial insurance, life insurance and planning are NOT MLM's. They are commission, sales- based roles with actual companies, and it's hard to make a steady income , but please don't confuse the company with a shill or fake business. I looked them up online as well. It's commissioned sales, that's all. Not a scam.
We are financial brokers and work in a super-regulated industry. The companies we work with are real, including and not limited to AIG, Transamerica, and National Life Group.
The companies your group works with may be real, but your company is an MLM which is just plain gross to try to sucker people on here to sign up for that crap.
