Hey community!
I could really use some helpful feedback and advice from the community. I have been job hunting for 6 months already and applied to positions with my fine-tuned resume that passes the AWS system, however, the offers I received were so low and the pay compensation was beneath my value. Additionally, the company lacked integrity so it was not a good fit.
I'm beginning to feel dejected and would really appreciate suggestions for free/low-cost career transition support groups and advice. Here is my background:
I've always loved art and creativity as a child; however parental influences led me to choose Pharmacy as a career path. I've left the field due to feeling disgruntled in healthcare. I'm now 35 and have spent time learning digital marketing and worked at two agencies in which I managed 15-25 clients, and did not have a good work-life balance despite saying no. I've tried to apply for in-house marketing--- but I'm now looking to pursue a career that allows creative expression and stability.
***I'd like to ask any professionals in product design or in the creative design field for your advice. What are the pros and cons of your field? How is the work/ life balance and pay?
I welcome any open suggestions about the industry you worked in, your experiences, and education certifications/ support groups that may help me feel supported during this challenging transition.
Thanks so much, community!

I can tell you that there is zero work/life balance nor stability with ad agencies. I worked in them for a long time and then went client side to in house. There's definitely a bit more "stability" there. I hate using that word because as long as we work for other people, there are no guarantees. With a pharmaceutical background-granted not marketing-you may offer an interesting twist for a healthcare in house agency. Follow your gut. It's going to work out for you!!
