I was formerly an Enterprise Agile Coach in the software development area.
I'm hoping my next adventure is with an employer that is invested in Diversity and inclusion and encourages giving back. What I seem to attract though are Project Manager jobs. While I have deep experience, I have 12 years in Agile Coaching and transition. Do you have any suggestions on what I should do differently to get more focused interest out of employers?
Not everywhere will have an Agile Coaching / Transition role on teams - it’s most likely the most prevalent in large tech companies - so you may need to target specific companies to find those roles.
You could also consider looking “program management”roles (again in the context of large tech orgs. Those roles are sometimes a little project managey but might also be adjacent enough to agile teams to peak your interest.
I’m not clear, do you want to remain in project management??
I can’t tell if you’re looking for a new field or you want to stay in the same field but find a new employer more focused on DEI.
I want to remain in Agile software development but I'd like to work for a company that places an emphasis on Diversity and inclusion
