Hi all,
My sister is a rising Senior Psychology major seeking an internship. She is open to a number of industries and opportunities as she decides how to best use her degree. Anyone know of any remote opportunities? Please help me to help her. She has not had much experience during college, and she will be graduating before we know it. Even with a ton of experience, I STRUGGLED after college. I don’t want that for her. I would greatly appreciate any internship information, ideas, mentorship opportunities, or other resources.
Please have her contact the Career Services department at her university. They should be able to point her in the right direction for internships. I also strongly suggest that she create a LinkedIn account and actively network through that tool because three people are hired through LinkedIn every minute. Best of luck!!
I believe at most schools there is a career center that students can to go for help. They may help her develop an organized plan on how to find the best internship. She can also chat with the faculty members in her department to help with networking.
She should see about an HR internship.
Hey there!
With the pandemic, many institutions are offering online support to their employees and students. I would suggest looking into universities and companies. She might also want to consider volunteering for suicide prevention hotlines such as the Trevor Project.
