I have been out of job since sept 2021.
Efforts to get another proved abortive. I'm so pissed off because i hate being idle.
highly relatable. i have the same issue. though i am an entry-level lawyer, i feel that i can get a job with qualifications. but its been so tough that i am losing confidence.
Consider substitute teaching. You can work whatever days you want and if you have an interview, just don't agree to work that day.
Temp work is a great way to close that gap.
Being idle is the worst. Volunteer to re-engage.
Understandable! However, it's time to channel that anger into passion. Revamp your resume and consider having a professional review it to make sure it is perfect for the position you're applying for. If you've been putting your hair in a ponytail or messy bun forever, maybe it's time for a fresh new haircut and an investment in a perfect suit to wear to an interview. Tell all your friends and former co-workers that you're back and ready to work. Update your profile on Linked In and make getting a job your job. It's also worth considering signing up with a temping agency; if you do a temporary job well, it often leads to a permanent job. Good luck!
A better job will come soon for you
