I'm being quiet fired.
Looking for 1) remote work fast, and 2) any advice/resources on starting a plant nursery in South Texas.
1)I'm a good employee and I was kind to everyone I called. I wasn't successful at this job because I don't like coercing people into signing up for appointments they don't always necessarily need/want.
I have a BA in technical writing. I've interned in the collections department at a museum, been an admin. assistant at a PI law firm, created digital content for a local magazine, and most recently, worked at a medical insurance call center.
I'm open to any type of remote work as long as I'm not calling people all day. I would be open to an on-site position if it were for a non profit.
2) I live on 11 acres of land and I've already sent out my Nursery Floral application. Looking for a mentor, literature recommendations, tips, etc. I've been gardening for a while now and I'd like to eventually do this for a living.

You would really benefit from a job coach to help you create a narrative and value proposition about yourself.
Respectfully, I’m having trouble following all the zig-zags with your education and job history.
Soneone should be able to help you organize a resume that will make you attractive to potential employers.
I appreciate your input. Thank you.
Have you looked into any remote technical writing jobs? Look at banks or contact an IT staffing firm in your area. Some may have remote. Perhaps this would help while you’re getting your nursery off the ground. Sounds like a great business idea!
Thank you so much. I'll try that.
I hired many and technical writers can cross many industries. Perhaps you could also look at being a grant writer. And perhaps that could also cross into funding for your nursery too. ;-)
