New Career Path

Hello - I am 26 years old and currently an Administrative Assistant. I have been wanting to dabble into consulting for a while now. However, I do not have any experience with it. Does anyone have any advice on what my next should be to reach my ultimate goal? I feel like I do not know what to do. I have tried applying, reaching out to leaders for shadowing opportunities, etc. Nothing is working out and it is really bumming out. Any advice is helpful. Thanks!!

I came across this virtual internship: https://www.insidesherpa.com/virtual-internships/prototype/FqFtWwQzNxJ8Qsh5H/Technology%20Consulting#lp I haven't tried enrolling but its definitely consulting related and its free for students. It's not a paid gig but I guess you will learn a lot. Also, please try reaching out to people outside of your network (here or on LinkedIn) specifically in consulting. I'm sure many women here in consulting role might be able to guide you.
