Hi all, I'm starting to search for my dream job after earning an MS in integrated marketing communications, and leaving a good job that over time became more stressful than it should have been.
It's been a long time since I've been on the market and I'm looking for any tips you can share about successfully navigating screener interviews.
Thanks in advance for sharing your insights!
Congratulations on earning your MS! If you have not already done, get clear on your superpowers and your work style. This goes beyond technical acumen. It's about your softer skills. There is a free test at https://predictablesuccess.com/vops-quiz/ that helps you pinpoint whether you are a visionary, operator, synergist or processor. Best of luck!
BarbaraRuland,
Linkedin offers great information on how to answer interview questions and what answers recruiters and hiring managers are looking for. They also offer interview tips. Check out the website! There is a wealth of information at your fingertips!
Make sure you prepare for all the questions you know they're going to ask you - your background, why you left your job, why you're applying for this job, strengths/weaknesses, etc.
I'd also suggest looking online to see if you can find out more specifics about the interview process at the company you're interviewing with - FGB or Glassdoor usually have info that can help.
Thank you for the great advice!
