Feeling lost / Any remote HR roles?

I cannot explain how relieved I am to stumble upon FGB. I am in a phase of my life where I am so lost and confused, I don't know what to do. I am mum of two girls and my employer made me redundant two weeks before we were relocating to another country for my husbands job(my employer had agreed for me to work from that country). I have worked for this company for over a decade and they just took 2 mins to tell me I am not needed. I have never been made redundant so this is all new for me. We have now moved to the new country, I am busy settling our kids and setting up our house, but I feel like I have lost my confidence and myself. I have been in HR for 17 years and have experience globally...We are Indian origin British citizens...have lived in Dubai, US, UK and now in Indonesia. I have years of experience in Recruiting, Business partnering and most recent setting up HR shared services...I have always worked remotely. If you are looking or are aware of any remote HR roles, please do keep me in mind. Thanks for listening and reading.

1)Your former employer: don’t take their actions to heart. First, you would not have been successful for a decade if you were not competent. Second, the Covid crisis has made many companies eager to reduce staff. Don’t take this personally. In addition, you can advise future employers that you were laid off during the Covid crisis— that’s all you have to say. 2)Does your husband’s employer have a “trailing spouse” program that could help you find employment?

Thank you for taking time to read and respond and also for such encouraging words. Sadly they don't as he works in an international school and you need certain specific qualifications to work in a school.
