Looking to transition into admin positions
Hi ladies,
I have been dedicated to providing outstanding customer service to clients for over seven years. I have excellent communication and interpersonal skills including phone etiquette skills. I am a quick-learner who has experience with scheduling software in addition to data entry.
I am looking to transition my career and am open to different possibilities. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Cindy
Thank you!
Awesome! I know SD well and you'll love it.
The easiest place to start when you're looking for work in any new area is to find the top employers and connect with them. That will give you insights on needed skills, career paths, growth areas, resources, possible LinkedIn recruiters, etc.
SD is a military, educational, medical research and technology town, so the top employers are:
United States Navy
University of California, San Diego
Sharp HealthCare
Qualcomm (technology)
San Diego Unified School District
City of San Diego
Dexcom (medical devices)
Kaiser Permanente (healthcare)
Scripps Health
Bookmark their websites, review the jobs they have posted (literally thousands of them) and start determining what feels best for you. As you narrow down your list you can look at similar industries but perhaps smaller companies as well.
So many opportunities for you! Good Luck!
Cindy, what city/area are you looking in? And do you have a specific industry in mind? Good Luck!
I am looking for something in the San Diego area. Most of my experience is in the beauty industry. I do not mind staying the beauty industry however I am looking to tradition out as well.
That's so exciting. So as an admin position, are you referring to a general management role or some kind of role that supports the company? Preferably internally or externally? Just wanted to clarify.
Honestly right now I am completely open to anything that will allow for growth.
