All and any advice is welcome
I work in a very data heavy position. I’m not very happy with my company and am actively seeking opportunities that will better help with development, in my field since I really enjoy it. Ideally I’d like to change industries and really just don’t know where to begin so please help!!
Hey there,
Lynne provided such great feedback!
Also, I’d love to invite you to our new professional profile (which is different from your current community profile) and quick apply feature –– which gives you closer access to recruiters who are actively looking to hire more women.
These features helps you avoid the job application black hole by receiving updates on your application status in real-time and the option to message the company directly after submitting your profile (link below).
Please let me know if you have any questions, best of luck with your search and please keep us posted!

Begin by deciding what industry you want to work in. Determine if you have all the skills you need to switch industries and get it.
Rebrand yourself in the new industry. Join the associations; start volunteering there or other places within your new industry. Makes social media posts about your new industry. If you don't have anything to say, post articles and share other people's posts.
Add these things to your LinkedIn profile. Update your resume to include any training, organizations/associations, etc.
Decide which employer(s) do you want to work for. And work to make that happen.
The time this takes will vary. But as much as you dislike your current job, figure that this will take a year. And during that time, the work toward switching industries should help give you the energy to keep going--providing it is truly something you want to do.
