I am in need of a new career - fast. My background is very diverse, and although my business career of choice is HR, I've been out of it too long, so I am not getting any traction with getting back into it. I've been in the business world for many years, but have been extremely unlucky lately. I've been temping for the past 10 months ( at a tremendous salary cut, I might add), with the understanding that the position would become permanent with a living wage, however the company has decided to "go a different way," so I am back at square one with only a month to figure things out. I need to come up with a plan, and quickly, but right now - I don't know what to do. Not long term, anyway. I need a break as I don't want this to keep happening. Any suggestions?
