These features helps you avoid the job application black hole by receiving updates on your application status in real-time and the option to message the company directly after submitting your profile (link below).

Luisa - just to add a tiny bit on the advice Lynne gave you; start following on LinkedIn companies that you would like to work with, and which culture resonates with you.
Once you start following the companies you may also get notifications of job opportunities with them.
Like you, I am also looking for a new opportunity in Miami yet very open to relocated and I am focusing in the area I want to work, which is any firm with interior design/decoration (expecting to get a lower pay rate) but where I know I will be happier doing what I have like throughout my life, and where my skills are transferable.
Luisa.
I realize that most people think that the best way to get a job is to be open to everything.
However, that is not the case. The clearer you are on what you want the easier it is to find work.
So, what do you want to do? Where do you want to do it?
Yes, what companies do you want to work for? Do some research.
Then, come back here and tell us what your plans are and what you are looking for next. For instance, you want to have informational interviews with people who are doing a specific type of job to see if it something you want to do. Or you want more information about the financial picture of a company you're researching--after all you don't want a new employer to go out of business because it can't weather the financial store we're heading for.
So what do are you doing and what are you looking for next? Let us know and you are liable to get a lot more comments.
It will be easier if you can look through some job descriptions, say, on LinkedIn or Indeed or similar, and focus in on what specific job areas or titles you would be targeting. You bring a nice broad set of skills, but it would be hard for an employer to "see" you in a specific position without some guidance from you as to where you could bring the most value to their organization.
