It doesn't feel like it. Rejection after rejection feels like I'm doing everything wrong. I've have one recruiter tell me that calling for a follow up will get my resume placed at the bottom of the pile or even in the trash. WTF is all I can say to that, but I keep going. What choice do we have? I brush the dust off and wipe the tears away and move forward.

Forget recruiters! They are overwhelmed and usually work with companies they have a retainer with, first. Go directly to hiring managers, decision makers and network with those who work for your top 10 companies you are interested in. Time to change your approach. I realize you have been through the mill however, rejection is redirection and soon people will be coming to you to tell you that you are a great fit! Believe and achieve. If you are not already a premium member in Linkedin, it’s worth the money to get your resume in front of the right people. Also, jobscan.com helps you to tweak your resume to better fit job descriptions, so you are not doing it by guess work. Just a few tweaks to what you are doing could make a huge difference. Doors will soon open for you, you have to believe in yourself. It’s going to happen and soon you will have a great offer! Visualize it and step into your future self.

I do have Premium LinkedIn membership and have signed up for Jobscan but haven't used it much. As I'm 'taking a week off' I'll use this time to refocus. Thanks for all your advice.
