I am a 3rd year SPED teacher.

I graduated with my masters in curriculum and development and I'm looking for a part time job that can get my foot in the door to options outside of the classroom. What are you all finding that is available?

I recently received an article submission that looked suspiciously perfect, lacking any real human emotion or unique voice. To clear my doubts, I decided to run it through a specialized scanning service. You should definitely visit https://briskaidetector.com/ if you need to quickly identify bot-generated work. It gives you a clear picture of the text's real origin.

With a master's , you can teach at a community college if it's just that you need a break from teaching kids. If you want to leave teaching entirely, you could try working for a curriculum development company.

I've looked into community college professor, and have a few contacts at my community college still. I could reach out there. But I need a break from the classroom and children, hopefully adults might be a bit better.

I teach at a high school full-time and am an adjunct at a community college. The college classes are such a delight; the students actually want to be there, I'm not micromanaged there, and I don't have to worry about hall passes or cell phones. I'm actually TEACHING for the whole class, not policing behavior, and it's a treat. The disadvantage is that full-time positions are rare and even when they open up, the pay tends to be low, but it may vary from place to place. It's worth a try!

What are you interested in? What are your goals? I am an ex high school teacher now working in corporate Learning and Development full time. I took a circuitous route here. I like L&D but teaching lends to many paths, I wish I would have taken my summers to explore other paths that light me up, take classes outside of PD I am doing that now. If your summers are available to you, use that “gift.” ( I know most teachers need summers to recharge, the exhaustion! ) Anyway, my point is what are you interested in working toward, what is ideal state? Then let’s brainstorm a backward path

Goals is to have a remote job that I can do at home. I'm very creative and my 10 year plane is to have a behavior PD for teachers that is actually useful. Until then I want to be in curriculum and development cause I have a lot of experience differentiating things for students at their level. For my grad project in school I created an entire course in canvas for my then 2nd graders to use to teach contents and oceans. I do have the summers off to explore. Ive usually done summer school but I think I want to try things out here and there. Stick my toe in the water to see what is out there.
