Mental Check up
Today I started therapy. I noticed through the holidays that I was feeling more anxious. I was worried about who I would get on my telehealth appointment. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that my therapist is a Yogi and Yoga Therapist, score! She was easy to talk to and the extra boost that I'm going to need. I've started a non-profit for my county and I already have a full life with my husband and 4 children. When my parents' mental and physical health started to suddenly slip it was the straw that broke the camel's back.
I share this to say don't be afraid to ask for help. Living "The Sweet Life" is easier when we are checking in with ourselves and making sure that our battery is full first before we can give to others.
