Workforce management
Hi! I’m looking to get back into workforce management a few years ago I worked for a company for 4 years assisting with the warehouse adherence, the amount of people to workload and would run reports through out the day. I left that company because I never got a raise amongst other things.
For that job I only took about 4 calls a day the rest was data entry and running reports I was considered a “Operational specialist”. This can be done from home. That works for me because I have to small kids.
I have a background of store management, warehouse management (desk work), case management, administrative, entry level Hr and onboarding experience.
What’s really important for me is having a job I can work from home while my kids are here but not having to take 70 + calls a day. Of course being able to pay my bills as well can’t forget that.
What would be the best way in getting back into this field with experience only. I have scoured indeed and would like some other resources or certificates I could get to help with what I already know without having to go back to school?
I have a associate degree I would need to pay out of pocket if I go back to school and my current bills will not allow that.
Utilizing tools such as LinkedIn and other virtual networking sites would be the first step I'd take in this new job search.
What have you done so far in your job search? Where do you have your resume posted? How often are you updating those profiles?
Is your LinkedIn profile filled out and up to snuff? Do you have the green “open to work” banner on your LI profile and the other “open to work” indicator that recruiters with a LinkedIn Recruiter license can see?
Are there specialty job sites you could be using? You have a degree? If so, are you utilizing that school's job site or alumni network?
