Career Change Clarity!

Where to begin?

I know that I want and need a career change, where I can use the life (and some professional) skills my current career has taught me. I also know that I am open to relocating to certain areas. But how and where do I begin when I do not know WHAT career I want to change to? It is very frustrating and overwhelming at times.

I'm working for a career start-up that helps with this exact thing! You can arrange a strategy call with the founder, it's 100% free and they help you to figure out which career might be your best fit and how to achieve the switch! The call is one-on-one so you it's kinda like career therapy! You can schedule the free call here:https://calendly.com/elissa-arcvida/career-strategy-session?month=2021-06

Yes, it can be overwhelming. Try to resist thinking about all of the things you have to know and do to make a change like this. Instead, recognize that you've already started. According to your own words, you know you want something different than what you're doing now, where you can leverage what you've already learned. Great! What else can you imagine? This first step is the fun part--where you can dream without any limits. Avoid complicating this step with planning how you'll implement. Start with defining your why--your greatest passions, fantasies, and possibilities. Then you can start to translate that into potential careers. Once you know what you want to accomplish, you can put together a strategy with actionable steps that will help you get there. Having support along the way can be very helpful. Consider working with a coach who can serve as a thinking partner, cheerleader, and accountability resource. (Most of us are really good at this.) You got this!

Hi and yes it can be, pivoting starts as an inside job. You must ask yourself 3 questions. Why? Why now ? Are you seeking a change away from something or truly seeking a new career? Secondly, what? Go within and determine what a change might look like for you? Are there roles out there yay interest you where you may have to go back to school, get some kind of training or certification? And lastly, do I have what it takes? Are you willing to step into your future self and do the work or stretch yourself to make sacrifices to land that new role? I ask the hard questions a cause I have done it 3 different times. And each time was a stretch beyond what I envisioned. I hired coaches, I went back for training, I surrounded myself with ultra successful people and it made all the difference to get to where I wanted to be. If you need help I offer a free discover Your Dream Job session. Just PM me.
