Hi just another Emily?.. hehe hope I got that right. I'm sure your the BEST Emily :D! That's great! These days, there are so many opportunities, it's just really deciding and what fits our current personality and desired lifestyle I guess. I have a nursing degree BSN, but wanting to add on some thing else or take a break from nursing. Not quite sure yet. I was looking at jobs that do not require getting another degree, but have the same, if not having a greater potential to make more income. Thinking of maybe getting into Tech Recruiting since it seems like it would be an exciting lifestyle and most places that hire would be glad to train if you have the type of personality they are looking for. Got attracted to it because it has the potential to make a great income (salary) + commissions (depending on the deals you make), you could help companies with ideal employees and could help someone find their ideal job. Plus, there are perks in the job like travel and spending budget to network and close deals if I'm not mistaken. I love networking with people. They said it could be challenging if you don't have thick skin, but after the things I've gone through being a nurse, I think I'll be up for the challenge :D. I see you love HR (Human Resources? or Hugging Rabbits? lol just playing). But if you really are HR, you may be really good at tech recruiting :)

Hi Erralyn! I'm also interested in this topic - obviously haha :). Right now I've been thinking about trying to find something part time or at least reduced hours to have better work life-balance. I have a background in higher education and corporate leadership so I usually get turned away from the jobs I've looked at for being over-qualified. What is it that you want to do?
