Resume Over Coffee

I am a fresh graduate with a major in psychology (concentration pre-medicine), and a minor in business administration, and need help getting into research & development in the skincare or pharmaceutical industry.

I have taken intense upper-level bio courses with labs, and business courses as well. If anyone can help me create a resume, get my foot in the door, or just give me some tips, I would really appreciate it!

How does a psychology major relate to R&D for [company]? Answer that question in the first line of your cover letter.

ooh, good question to have an answer for. Noting here that most corporate recruiting never looks at the CL. Express anything in the CL in the resume as well. The CL should only be for prose elaboration. and if your major/minor doesn't relate to a role, leave it out! Omission helps you steer the focus of your reviewer.

I worked in the substance use recovery field. There were labs that catered to our industry and had reps we would deal with. That might be a good fit for you.
