Hello all!
thank you for having me, this site is new to me. I've been in the job search for what seems like forever. So hard to stay positive. Wanting to pivot into something new but the job market is so tough . Just finding A JOB seems to be so hard let alone changing career focus. So, hoping to gain some new friends, hoping to help anyone I can, not sure how but I'm up for it, and figure out what I'm doing wrong in my job search, because like all of us here, I need one BAD lol

Would love to help. First, rediscover what your strengths are and what you're good/great at. A self-assessment is essential. Then, utilize the information you gain to set an appropriate life and career direction. Invest time in yourself and reconnect with your needs, motivation, and passion. You'll gain the clarity needed to set relevant goals for the type of job you want.

Remember, it's not only you. What/how you show yourself figures big. The employer is a big part of the recipe. Plus a lot of timing and chance. Try the conventional AND the unconventional. Get feedback so you're not using unproductive methods, materials. Ex: a resume with a typo. It happens!!
